This small charming apartment with its own exit to the garden has its origins in the 13th century. Before, it was used as a stable and until the 70s, the bedroom was used as an oil storage. Then the room was cleared out and the family's teenagers painted the ceiling beams in different colors to have a disco there. Later, the apartment was converted into a two-room apartment with a kitchen and a bathroom that recently has been completely renovated.
Principessa, the princess, is a nickname that came about when the Crown Princess of Malaysia lived there, but no matter where you come from, you will appreciate the pleasant, cozy atmosphere in this apartment.
A small staircase leads out to the garden where you can enjoy a quiet moment on the grass and admire the view of the hills, or socialize over some delicious local food and/or wine from the small local shops. The garden, laid out in 1898 when the castle moat was filled in, is shared with guests from Bonaparte and occasionally with Cesarini family members. There is lots of room for everyone on the grass or under the pergolas with dining area.
The apartment has a bedroom with a double bed and a spacious room adjacent to the kitchen. There is a washing machine, satellite TV and Wi-Fi (fiber internet) and AC.
Larger families or group of friends who wants to stay together can rent Bonaparte and Principessa which can be merged thanks to a door connecting the apartments.
