Luca and Lisa Cesarini welcome you to Panicale

In the 80's, my parents Gun and Giuliano Cesarini returned to Panicale as pensioners. With great energy still left and a huge enthusiasm they renovated the old apartment from the 17th century built on the old medieval defensive wall, which had been in the family for centuries. They also refurbished the rooms that were in the lower part of the wall.

The result was striking: by exposing and preserving the old walls, arches and niches that were added when the defensive wall was built in the 13th century, they created some exquisite medieval apartments which, with all modern conveniences, quickly became popular holiday apartments for guests from all over the world. Dad passed away in 1995 and Mom ran the business until 2018 when she retired. She passed away in 2022 after a long and meaningful life and now rests with dad in Perugia's monumental cemetery.

Now my wife Lisa and I have been entrusted with managing the family heritage. After an extensive refurbishment and a new website (replacing the first one from the end of the 90’s), we are ready to receive former and new guests who want to spend a week (or more!) in one of the antique apartments. Here you get to feel the wings of history in a quiet and pleasant environment that has been carefully renovated and equipped with modern conveniences.
