Bonaparte

Via Ceppari 37b

This nice, large apartment with exciting architecture is housed in the old defensive wall from the 13th century that surrounds Panicale and has a lovely old garden that was laid out in 1898 when the castle moat was filled. Here, the Cesarini family has pressed both grapes and olives, and until the 70s there were hens that provided the family with fresh eggs and chicken when grandmother was going to cook Sunday dinner.

The apartment got its name Bonaparte because part of the decor comes from Napoleon's brother Lucien Bonaparte thanks to a long friendship with his descendants. This includes a mirror, the ornate marble frame for the stove in the entrance and a sofa that was in Lucien's home in Canino.

Despite its old history, there is no lack of modern convenience and the apartment was recently renovated. There is a spacious dining room with kitchenette, two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two separate beds). There is also extra space with a sofa bed in the room leading to the garden. You have Wi-Fi (fiber), satellite TV, washing machine and everything you need for a comfortable stay. In the garden, which is a meeting place for family and guests of Principessa, there is a dining area under the pergola. The garden also has lots of space both in the sun and in the shade if you want a quiet relax.

Larger families or group of friends who want to stay together can rent both Bonaparte and Principessa which can be merged thanks to a door connecting the apartments.
